Social Context of Turnover-Mixed Methods Study of Indian IT Professionals

This paper examines the social context of turnover, defined by influence supervisors, peers, and family. Using a mixed-methods research design, data were collected two rounds semi-structured interviews with 75 IT professionals working in outsourcing industry India. After span 10 months, respondents contacted again to longitudinally measure actual turnover behavior. structured equation modeling, study shows that family supervisory justice play critical part process. The model has sufficient explanatory power explains 37% variance intentions 27% In addition, we used logistic regression show effect various antecedents on dependent variable. detailed qualitative analysis offers insights into dichotomy between Finally, implications for practice are discussed.
